Dream Dinners Indianapolis Paints the Store Pink!
Our Indianapolis Dream Dinners location is participating in the Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Indianapolis – Paint Indy Pink Contest to showcase their support in the fight against breast cancer.
They are helping to educate the public by decorating the exterior, interior and windows of their location.
Our staff had such a great time being creative and decorating our store in pink for Paint the Town Pink 2010. We are fully decorated and will keep these decorations up through the month of April. We will also be giving away free chocolate candy bars with “wrappers” to our guests that will remind them to register and support Race for the Cure.
Our staff decorated a wall “grill” in pink and attached each of our staff names to it. Next to that is our sign stating, “In the United States, a woman has about a one in eight chance of developing breast cancer in her lifetime.” We thought this was poignant since we have eight staff at our store and that one of our staff, several years ago, was diagnosed with breast cancer and the cause of education, awareness and prevention were quickly brought to our attention.
