Holiday Weight Management Tips with Brian Wansink

We all know that we eat more during the holiday season and there is no shortage of news stories telling us about holiday weight gain. It was refreshing to find a video by an expert in eating behavior that actually offers some advice about how to cut down rather than doing without.

Brian Wansink (Ph.D. Stanford 1990) is the Director of the Cornell Food and Brand Lab and is a former Executive Director of the USDA Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion. He has written a best-selling book “Mindless Eating“.

According to Kelly Brownell, Ph.D., Director, Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity at Yale University, “Brian Wansink is the Sherlock Holmes of food, discovering one reason after another how our food world drives us to eat. We would each do well, the nation would do well, to be mindful of what he recommends.”
