Instant Pot Cooking Instructions
Thaw in the refrigerator.
- Set Instant Pot to SAUTE. Add 1 Tbsp. of oil to the bottom of the pressure cooker. Add onion mixture and sauté for 3-5 minutes or until the onions soften and become translucent.
- Add tomato base to onion mixture and stir well to combine. Then add 2 ½ cups of water to the pot. Pressure cook on HIGH for 4 minutes. Leave on natural release for 5 minutes and then manually release any remaining pressure.
- Meanwhile, prepare and assemble Grilled Cheese Bites as per provided cooking instructions.
- To finish the soup, add the bag of half & half. Stir to combine. Ladle soup into bowls and serve with grilled cheese bites on the side or on top.
