Metropolitian Mama Loves Dream Dinners

Metropolitanmama.netRecently, Dream Dinners scored big with Metropolitan Mama, one of the top rated blogs on the Web. We made blogger Stephanie Sheaffer’s end-of-the-year Best of 2009 List!

Turns out, Stephanie went to Dream Dinners exactly one week before giving birth to her second daughter. “It ended up being one of the best things that I did to ‘prepare’ for my baby’s arrival,” she writes. “Spending a few hours preparing meals without having to grocery shop, chop onions, think up meal ideas, etc. were absolutely priceless.”

Thanks for the kudos, Stephanie!

  1. I had my first child in March of 2008. After 4 hours of labor she was taken C-section but was a perfect little angel girl. The first few days neighbors and family helped out with dinner but after that it was up to my husband. Thanks to Dream Dinners I had Arroz con Pollo and Braised Beef Roast with Mushrooms instead of Easy Mac and Cereal.

That’s the whole reason I started Dream Dinners. With my second daughter my husband wasn’t going to be able to stay home with my for very long. My oldest was 18 months. I knew I was going to need all the help I could get. Dream Dinners was a lifesaver! Easy to fix meals helped to make sure I was eating well, very important while nursing. My oldest had good, tasty meals to help expand her tastes. We liked the experience and service Dream Dinners supplies so much that we are now 1.5 years into it. It’s still as useful today, with both my husband and I in school and working.

    1. Wow, I remember trying to nurse & get dinner on. Impossible! So glad that Dream DInners can be a part of making your family run smoothly. : )

I started using Dream Dinners when I was pregnant and had a 2-year-old. We were in such a rut and had no energy to cook big meals in the kitchen. We are still using DD almost a year later. It saves me so much time and now have such a variety. Love Dream Dinners!!

    1. A pregnancy plus a two-year-old? That was the PERFECT time to start Dream Dinners. Glad it has worked so well for you, Carmen.

  4. That’s when I first found out about Dream Dinners! And now my son is 3, and I haven’t wanted to stop! It was so great to be able to spend those precious moments with my baby or sleeping instead of preparing dinner. My husband could come home and start dinner if I hadn’t already done it! I am 100% with Stephanie, Dream Dinners is the perfect way to get ready for a new baby!!
